Merry Jennifer is a gynecologic medical oncologist who finds joy and meaning in caring for patients, mentoring, and advocating for women in medicine.
In 2021, she followed a dream and launched MMarkham Travel, a boutique travel agency rooted in her belief that time away from the demands of medicine isn't a luxury — it's essential. Through thoughtfully designed journeys, she helps busy professionals reconnect with joy, curiosity, and the world around them. RestoreRx is her way of bringing that belief to the women who need it most: the physicians who spend their days caring for others and rarely carve out time for themselves.
She's married to her high school sweetheart, mom to two awesome kids, and happily outnumbered by pets: three cats and a goldendoodle named Milo. While she loves traveling with her family, she's always game for a solo escape — especially if it involves France, a good glass of wine, and a seat in first class.

Resort credits can be applied to fee-based activities, private sessions, and spa treatments. They cannot be applied to retail purchases or alcohol. Resort credits are accrued nightly and rollover throughout your stay. However, at the end of your stay, any unused resort credits are forfeited. (Use ‘em or lose ‘em!)

This fee is paid separately from your resort room rate and is required to confirm your participation.

This retreat is designed for women physicians who are ready to step away from the demands of work and life to rest, reconnect, and recharge. It’s a space to be surrounded by like-minded women who understand the unique challenges we face — and to focus fully on yourself for a change.
who is this retreat for?
Yes! You’re welcome to bring a guest with you. Non-physician guests are invited to join us for the three private group dinners, with a reduced retreat fee of $500. They won't be able to participate in the full retreat programming (like workshops and group sessions), but they’ll have plenty to enjoy at the resort while you’re attending retreat activities.
can spouses or partners come too?
Your retreat fee covers two private group experiences, a welcome reception, and three private group dinners — one each evening of the retreat. It also sets the conditions for the moments that tend to matter most: the informal ones. Morning hikes, time by the pool, a spontaneous conversation before dinner. Those aren't on a schedule, but they're part of what this retreat is built for.
Your hotel stay, spa treatments, and any resort activities outside the group schedule are separate and booked directly through Miraval.
what all is included in the retreat fee?
Once your registration and retreat fee are complete, you'll receive a private link to book your room at our group rate. Room availability at the group rate is limited, so we encourage you to book as soon as the link is in your hands.
How do i book my room?
If you need to cancel more than 90 days before the retreat, you'll receive a full refund. Between 60 and 90 days out, a 50% refund is available. Within 60 days of the retreat start date, the retreat fee is non-refundable. Please note that the hotel's room cancellation policy is separate and handled directly through Miraval.
what is the retreat fee cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 31 days before arrival will receive a full refund of the room deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will forfeit the room deposit. This policy is separate from the retreat fee cancellation policy.
What Is The Room Cancellation Policy?
You can reserve a double occupancy room without a roommate. All reservations are initially booked as single occupancy — once you've secured your room, call Miraval directly to have your roommate added to the reservation. A 50% deposit of the total room cost is required at booking. If you're not able to find a roommate, your reservation simply stays as single occupancy. We're happy to help connect attendees who are looking to share a room, though we can't guarantee a match.
what if i want a roommate but don't yet have one?
Yes. If you'd like to arrive early or stay after the retreat, our group rate is available for up to 2 nights before and 2 nights after the retreat dates, based on availability. We recommend booking early if you're considering extra time — group rate rooms go quickly.
